Mary Wood
was born about 1658 in Bonsall, Derbyshire, England. She was the
daughter of George Wood and Hannah unknown last
name. In 1675 Mary married Richard Bonsall
and they were the parents of Elizabeth, Rachel, Abigail, Ann,
Jacob, Benjamin, Enoch, Eleanor and two unnamed children. The
family left England in 1682. Mary died on August 24, 1698 in Darby
Chester, Pennsylvania.
George Wood married
Hannah unknown last name and they were the parents of Mary,
John and Elizabeth. The family were Quakers. George immigrated
from Bonsall, Derbyshire, England on board the ship "Welcome",
settling in Darby, Pennsylvania.
