of George Cleves and an unknown mother. John married Mary
unknown last name and they were the parents of Mary. John came
to Southold, Long Island, New York from New Hampshire. He was
an Indian fighter and a Captain in the Pequot War. John died in
1760.

John Cleves Symmes, John Cleves Terry, and Timothy Symmes. His

which he bought of Caleb Horton. His endeared wife Mary and beloved
kinsman John Williamson. Sell all land in the colony of New Jersey.
Witnesses were Samuel Brown, Hannah Williamson, and Israel Youngs.
